Frida and Dr. Eloesser

Dr. Eloesser, who worked at the San Francisco General Hospital was a lifelong friend of Frida's after she visited San Francisco in her early 20s.

In 2005 I had the incredible opportunity to facilitate the loan of this paining to the Museo de Frida Kahlo for the first-ever exhibition of outside work brought into her blue house. You can read about my adventure.
